Stage Door Dance Arts is an award-winning dance studio in Conway, Arkansas. We offer the highest-quality instruction to recreational, pre-professional, and competitive students of all ages and ability levels, in a positive and uplifting environment. SDDA offers classes in creative movement, ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, contemporary-lyrical, modern, hip-hop, clogging, musical theater, student choreography, acro, and cheernastics. Recreational Dance Classes

The recreational dance program at SDDA is perfect for students of all ages. Children as young as two are exposed to multiple dance styles in one convenient class, while older students have the option of combo classes, or a more specialized course of study. Our recreational dancers have the opportunity to participate in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Clogging, Cheernastics, and Acro classes. Dancers will learn movement concepts, vocabulary, proper technique, and strong performance skills. Each class is taught by expert, adult, instructors who foster an encouraging and fun atmosphere for growth.

SDDA utilizes family-friendly music, modest costuming, and safe/age-appropriate choreography for all classes.

Pre-Professional Dance Training

Our pre-professional technique classes are by invitation only and are grouped by age and skill level. These classes are for more serious and experienced students who have a strong desire to perform.

All pre-pro classes will perform in our annual recital, giving them opportunities to showcase their technical and performance skills, while also allowing them to hone abilities that are valuable for all dancers, such as: picking up choreography quickly, applying technique in a tangible way on the stage, and practicing great classroom and audition habits.

These classes range from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours in length.
